Summary of experience
- Tried both bench trials and jury trials and arbitrated cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Also, successfully secured summary judgments and successfully argued an appeal in the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
- Wrote several articles published in the Chester County Daily News and appeared on a local radio broadcast in Chester County, PA to discuss the role of an attorney in defending individuals and companies in litigation. Also, has been chosen to be an arbitrator in Philadelphia and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania.
- In addition to his litigation practice, has represented professional athletes in playing contract and endorsement contract negotiations and has represented an IT company drafting and negotiating technology, consulting and software licensing contracts.
Representative Cases
- Represented a New Jersey landscaping business in several actions arising out of its snow and ice clearing business. Secured dismissal of the client in one case and won summary judgments in several others
- Won a Summary Judgment for a commercial landlord of an apartment complex in a slip and fall of a severely injured tenant. Evidenced that the landlord was not responsible for the condition alleged to have caused the injury
- Won a Summary Judgment for a Virginian commercial deck designer for an alleged defective deck that caused over $400,000 of damage. The judgment was appeals to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and successfully defended the dismissal of the case
- Successfully represented auto carriers in uninsured and underinsured cases, winning dismissal or summary judgments on behalf of the insurance companies
- Defended a driver in a multiple vehicle accident in Pennsylvania, winning summary judgment prior to trial
