Danielle Scott is an Associate in the New York City office of Hardin Thompson, P.C. As an attorney with the firm, Ms. Scott focuses her practice on defending insured clients in general liability matters, including cases involving negligence, premises liability, and automobile liability.

Prior to joining Hardin Thompson, P.C., Ms. Scott practiced in a variety of areas, including criminal defense, personal injury, and medical malpractice.

Ms. Scott earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, she served as Secretary of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, was a member of the Black Law Students Association, and served as a Student Bar Association Senator, reflecting a strong commitment to leadership and professional engagement. Her academic achievements include receiving a CALI Award in Entertainment Law, being named to the Dean’s List, and earning the Krista D. Latshaw Scholarship.

Ms. Scott is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the State of South Carolina, and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
