Chesney

Richard Chesney, Jr. graduated from Villanova University in 2000, and then from the Villanova School of Law in 2003. After graduation, he relocated to Florida, where he was a Public Defender in Seminole County in the Misdemeanor and later Juvenile divisions. After the birth of his first daughter in 2007, he moved back north, and practiced at a defense firm in New York for five years. He returned to the Philadelphia area in 2013, as defense counsel for a small automobile carrier. He then worked at two other Philadelphia area firms that practice insurance defense in the Philadelphia area before ultimately joining Hardin Thompson in 2021. He remains very active in alumni affairs for Villanova, with the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Alumni Club, and the Villanova Singers, of which he is an alumnus. He is barred in Pennsylvania, Florida and New York.
